Lojay Achieves Over 250 Million Spotify Streams, Celebrated by Fans

Nigerian sensation Lojay has reached an impressive milestone by surpassing 250 million streams across all his credits on Spotify.

Ever since the release of “Monalisa” in 2021, Lojay has emerged as one of the most celebrated artists in the Afrobeats genre. Lojay’s cumulative streams on Spotify have now exceeded 250 million. Notably, his recent EP, ‘Gangster Romantic,’ which dropped earlier this year, has successfully garnered 25 million streams on Spotify. Additionally, he made waves by being featured on ‘Sensational’ alongside American superstar Chris Brown and Davido.

Lojay expressed his gratitude for this remarkable achievement, emphasizing that he accomplished it independently with the support of his dedicated team and his beloved fans. He took to social media to share his feelings, stating, “Blessed to have done this independently. With God, my amazing team, and you, my fans.”

The superstar recently showcased his talents on Apple Music Home Session, where he performed stripped-down versions of some of his classic tracks. The Home Session EP, available in Spatial Audio, featured three unique acoustic renditions by the artist: ‘Monalisa,’ ‘IYD,’ and a cover of Libianca’s ‘People.’

Lojay’s sophomore EP, ‘Gangster Romantic,’ boasts seven tracks, and it includes collaborations with DJ Maphorisa and Kabza De Small. Fans have been effusive in their reactions to this remarkable milestone in Lojay’s career.
