OPINION: My Take On The Fire Outbreak In The Office of The Accountant General!!

“We have successfully extinguished the fire outbreak at the AGF office” These were the words from Sandra Ugo the Public Relations Officer of the Federal Fire Service after an unknown fire gutted the top floor of the office of the Accountant General of the Federation (Treasury House) Central District Area of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Abuja.

In a time when the federal government placed a lockdown in Abuja one may wonder how the fire started when workers and staff of the Treasury House were observing the restriction order imposed by the government to curtail the spread of the Coronavirus in FCT.According to report, Sandra Ugo declined to comment on what could have ignited the fire but noted that the good thing was how fast the fire service was to put the fire under control in less than one hour.

So I ask, Is the fire a perfect cover to something? knowing fully that workers and staff won’t be around as the fire started from the office of the Accountant General or its just a miraculous fire from the days of Elijah?
