The All Progressives Congress (APC) Gubernatorial Candidate, Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu has promised Lagosians better days ahead if elected to steer affairs of the state.
According to Sanwo-Olu, the plans to achieve the developmental mission is mirrored in his five pillars developmental agenda tagged “THEME”; With ‘T’ standing for Traffic Management and Transportation, ‘H’ for Health and Environment.
‘E’ stands for Education and Technology, while the ‘M’ denotes the making of Lagos a 21st century economy, accordingly, the last alphabet, ‘E’ stands for Education and Tourism.
He gave this assurance today while engaging in a meeting with the Magodo Residents Association, as part of his ongoing mission to woo Lagosians ahead of the March 9th gubernatorial election in the state.

Reacting to several queries by residents of the gated community, the party’s Deputy Governor Candidate, Mr. Obafemi Hamzat said the administration will launch a feedback code ‘Citizens Response Management Unit’ to institutionalize a framework to receive complaints, and suggestions .
He assured that a response time will be assigned to each request for quick response.
“In our desire to run an inclusive government, it is essential to open a window for communication where complaints, and suggestions will be channeled to establish an interface between the government, and her people ”
“Through our engagement with the people, we have received several demands for development across the length and breadth of the state, when we emerge with your support, this unit will help us to sustain the communication flow, and this will ensure our government will not drift from the eyes of the populace” He said
While tackling the question and answer session, the governorship candidate responded to the issue of power, raised by a resident of the community, he averred that the state government will work harmoniously with power distribution companies domiciled in the state to achieve an embedded power system for many communities.
Explaining the power system, he said it will eradicate huge cost spent on fueling and maintenance of power generating sets.
“I know you may be wondering the meaning of embedded power system, it is a process of generating electricity at a specific location and then connecting that supply into an electricity network”
“Having shed light on this system of power generation, we all seated here understand perfectly the bottlenecks involved in electricity distribution, but we promise to establish this model in our drive to run a 24/7 economy which power is fundamental to make it a reality”
“Then, we are compelled to move in line with the existing laws of the country to ensure power is available for businesses, while this embedded system will result to a slight increment in bills provided, it will save the people the cost of fueling and maintaining generating sets” He explained.

“Lagosians must wake up to avoid being hoodwinked by forces who planned heavily to cripple the economic prosperity of the state”
“Therefore, the callous action of the then party at the center, the Peoples Democratic Party will never be forgotten by the people of Lagos”
“During the trying period when Lagos was denied her monthly federal allocations, a new hope surfaced, the developmental freedom of Lagos evolved with the vision of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who as governor of the state worked tirelessly to bring the needed but unprecedented development”
“Ahead of March 9 gubernatorial election, we must use our vote to sustain the developmental freedom of Lagos, with our index fingers playing a major role to finger print for the All Progressives Congress at all levels”
