BREAKING: Two doctors held hostage by COVID-19 Patients in Kano

Two medical doctors and a nurse has reportedly been held hostage in Kano by COVID-19 patients.

The medical practitioners were said to have been locked up for about two hours by the coronavirus patients in Kano.

Aminu Mohammed, former chairman of the Nigeria Medical Association (NMA), made this known during a radio programme on Friday, May 8, The Cable reports. Mohammed said the incident happened while the doctors and nurse were conducting a routine checking around the ward where the patients are being managed.

 He stressed that the incident was a confirmation of the challenges being faced by health officials who need to manage hostile patients apart from treating them.
