JUST IN: Ondo Records Two New Cases Of Coronavirus

The Ondo State Government on Wednesday confirmed two new coronavirus cases in the state.

This is coming barely 24 hours after the state discharged five COVID-19 patients after they recovered from the disease.  With the two new cases, the state now has 18 the total number of confirmed cases so far.

Commissioner for Health in the State, Dr Wahab Adegbenro, who confirmed the fresh cases during an interview with SaharaReporters, said the blood samples of the two patients earlier collected for test came back positive.

He explained that the patients, who have now been moved to the Infectious Diseases Hospital in Akure, came into the state from Lagos and Sokoto states.
