Justice: Obama Issues A Statement On The Death of George Floyd

Former President of the United States of America, Barack Obama has put out a statement in regards to the death of George Floyd who was pinned down by a Minneapolis police few days ago. George lost his life after that incidence and since then, the city of Minneapolis has not remained the same as members of the community seeks for justice.

Obama who is the first black president of the United States of America, released a statement via his official twitter page, saying it’s not normal and has urged the Minnesota authorities to ensure the case is thoroughly investigated.

“This shouldn’t be normal in 2020 America. It can’t be normal if we want our children to grow up in a that lives to its highest ideals, we can and must do better.” Obama tweeted.

According to reports, the Minnesota police who pinned George down has been taken to custody as he was charged for third degree murder, but the family of George asked he should be charged for first degree murder instead.
