Nigeria Senate welcomes new legislative Day (Read more)

The Nigeria Senate announced the welcoming of new legislative day on their verified twitter page that,

Welcome to a new legislative day in the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Senate President, @DrAhmadLawan leads the principal officers into the chamber, takes the official prayers, and begins the proceedings of the day. #TodayInSenatePlenary.

Senate President Ahmad Lawan observed that there is no social distancing at the back of the Senate chamber. He advised his colleagues if the importance and asked them to adhere to it.

Senator KABIR Barkiya representing Kaduna Central moves for the adoption of proceedings for Tuesday, 4th May, 2020 and was seconded by Senator Binos Yaro representing Adamawa South. The vote was thereafter adopted.
