In responses to the Nationwide riot, as the result of the Death of George Floyd, American rapper DaBaby insinuated from a tweet he posted he was silent about the whole situation because he doesn’t want his opinion to get mixed with the current trend. #GeorgeFloyd.
He further pointed out his colleagues in the music business currently speaking about it; may be doing so from a position of clout chasing. However, Warri Born and Raised Nigerian rapper John NetworQ wasn’t having it with the Hollywood star and he responded see tweet below;
The next time you release music, we will sit back and play tracks from other artistes first. Just so we donβt confuse their sounds and lyrics with urs baby. Same energy ππΎ
