A Hiker Has Died After Allegedly Falling Off A Mountain In Abuja

A yet-to-be identified young man has reportedly died after falling off a mountain in Kubwa area of Abuja, Nigeria.

According to reports, it was gathered that the young man who was hiking with other of his friends, tipped off and fell to his death. A twitter user, Gbemi Dennis took to his Twitter page to show a short video of the man being taken to hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.

“A hiker reportedly fell from a mountain and died in Kubwa, an area of Bwari LGA, FCT Abuja. This may not be unconnected with the rainy season as mountains are wet. Please all hikers should be cautious, if you must hike this season. May the soul of the departed rest in peace.” Gbemi wrote.
