Edo State Discharges Five New Covid-19 Patients.

In a statement on Tuesday, Governor Godwin Obaseki, announced that Edo state has discharged five new covid-19 patients after they tested negative to the virus on several occasions.

The governor confirmed that the recovered persons have been cleared from the state’s isolation centres to return to their families.

This report brings the total number of covid-19 recoveries in the state to 114. However, the Commissioner for Health, Dr Patrick Okundia, said the state has recorded 28 new confirmed cases.

Edo has so far recorded a total of 3,191 suspected cases with 429 confirmed cases, 24 deaths, and 114 discharged.
