Kanu thanks God for his foundation and family as he celebrates his 44-years birthday in style

Today marks another great day in the life of so many Nigerians, as one of Nigerian greatest footballer, father, role model and philanthropist, Kanu Nwankwo.

Kanu who is popularly known as ‘Papilo’ took to his official Twitter handle to wish himself a prosperous plus one, as he was spotted of a brown ‘Ishi Agu’.

“I thank God for today. Happy birthday to me and happy new month to you all. Thank God for my family and thank God for making Kanu heart foundation.” Kanu wrote.

Kanu who is one of Nigerian football legend, had over 406 club appearances, scoring 98 goals and 99 National team appearances with over 20 goals.

Kanu also has a heart foundation where children with heart related sickness are being monitored and taken go care of by the foundation.
