R.Kelly Attacked By Inmates In Prison.

According to several reports, American singer R.Kelly was attacked by his fellow inmates at the Chicago Metropolitan Correctional Center on Wednesday.

According to Kelly’s attorney Steven Greenberg, the embattled R&B singer was sitting on his bed inside his cell when another inmate walked in and started punching him.

Media outlet  TMZ reports that the inmate was angry because the detention center has been placed on lockdown a few times due to people protesting Kelly outside of the facility. 

R.Kelly turned himself into the Cook County Jail last year. The singer has pleaded not guilty to a multitude of state and federal sexual misconduct and other charges in Illinois, Minnesota and New York.
