Blue-eyed lady: Couple receives new accommodation from Governor’s wife

The life of Risikat, the blue-eyed lady, will never remain the same after her news broke the internet space (it was alleged that her husband left her and his children because of the color of their eye).

Since she reunited with her estranged husband, Abdulwasiu Omodad, blessings and lots of favor has followed her, as the wife of Kwara State Governor, Mrs. Olufolake Abdulrazaq, has secured a 2-bedroom rented apartment for the couple.

In a news that was released by the Press Secretary to the governor’s wife, Yinka Adeniyi, said, this was made possible through a non-governmental organization, that is owned by the governor’s wife.

The apartment is located at a choice area of Ilorin and plans are being made to secure a shop for Risikat.

“We wanted to secure a shop for her, to sell patent medicine, but when we went to pay for both the accommodation and shop rent, we were told that somebody else had already paid for the shop. We only paid for the apartment and asked the couple to look for another shop.” Yinka Adeniyi said.

This come as a good news to Risikat and her family as prior to this time, she told newsmen in July that she has been in her father’s house for over a year, alleged that her husband’s family said they were scared of her because of her blue eyes and that of her children.

Congratulations to the wife of the Governor, Olufolake Abdulrazaq for her show of love and good gesture towards Risikat and her family.
