As the fight against COVID-19 continues, Nigeria has recorded 124 new cases of the deadly virus across the nation, making the lowest number of COVID-19 cases since April 27 when 64 infections were confirmed.

This was disclosed by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) via its official Twitter handle.
According to the states breakdown of the new infections, Plateau which had topped the list of states with new cases for one week recorded no positive sample on Thursday; Lagos, however, confirmed the most infections with 42 new cases, followed by FCT with 25 and Katsina with 14.
