INEC Has Received Petitions For The Removal Of Hon. Mojisola Alli-Macaulay From Office.

Hon. Mojisola Alli-Macaulay, a member representing Amuwo Odofin Constituency I, from the Lagos House of Assembly, has been petitioned for a recall by constituents of Amuwo Odofin.

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, revealed that it received the petition from the constituents on Monday, November 2, in which it was revealed that she had misrepresented the constituency and had joined the bandwagon for selfish reasons.

The House of Assembly member is accused of using COVID-19 palliatives as birthday souvenir, and she has also reportedly refused to give account of stewardship.

This is coming days after she said most Nigerian youths are on drugs and graduates of higher institutions will be better off learning trades rather than wasting away on social media.

Reports also have it that Alli-Macaulay does not have a constituency office, and since 2019 that she was elected to represent the people of the Amuwo Odofi, she is s yet to sponsor a bill.
