“Where Is Our Humanity?” Femi Fani-Kayode Questions Governor Wike On The Alleged Killings In Oyigbo

Nigerian politician, essayist, poet and lawyer, David Oluwafemi Adewunmi Abdulateef Fani-Kayode, also known as Femi Fani-Kayode, has taken to his official social media handle to blast President Buhari and the Governor of Rivers State, Chief Barrister Neysom Wike in a thread tweet.

Femi Fani-Kayode was a minister during former President Olusegun Obasanjo’s tenure, was also an active member of the then ruling party, before he went back to the private sector and to his legal practices at the end of Obasanjo’s administration in 2007.

Femi Fani-Kayode took to Twitter to call out Governor Wike on the alleged killings of citizens in Oyigbo Local Government Area of Rivers State, as he questions the mass murder of ‘Igbo people’.

“I condemn the killing of security agents by anyone in Oyigbo community, but does that mean that every Igbo there must be treated like a prisoner of war or massacred? The mass murder of Igbo people in Oyigbo, Rivers State is unacceptable. Where is our humanity? Does any race deserve this type of targeting and treatment?” Femi Fani-Kayode tweeted.
