Teenager Allegedly Staged Her Own Kidnap & Demand N30 million From Her Parents In Lagos

Wonders shall never end, as two friends, Precious Chukwu, 22-year-old, and Ujunwa Offiah, 18-year-old have been arrested by the police for allegedly staging her own kidnap (Ujunwa) just to extort money from her parents.

According to gathered information’s, the two girls have been arrested by the State CID in Lagos after the case was properly investigated. Precious and Ujunwa were not alone in this as a mutual friend of theirs, Ifesinachi Blessed, joined to stage the Kidnap.

In a statement released by the State’s PPRO, SP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the girls masterminded the kidnap, with the help of their friend who is a cab driver (Ifesinachi), after they kept Ujunwa in a safe place and demanded for a ransom of N30 million from her parents. They eventually got N700,000 after series of negotiation with the help of Precious before Ujunwa was later released.

The police intervened and swung into action as the case took a different turn with series of investigation. Precious and Ujunwa were arrested why Ifesinachi is still on the run as his where about is still unknown at this point.
