Former Governor of Lagos State and Nigeria’s Minister for works and housing, Babatunde Fashola has disclosed that he doesn’t know the outcome on investigations concerning the camera he recovered at the Lekki Toll Gate, last year October.
Recall that Former Governor of Lagos State, Babatunde Fashola went on a detective escapade weeks after the shooting at #EndSARS protesters at the Lekki Toll Gate on October 20, 2020, and was able to discover a hidden camera at the Toll Gate.
However, when asked about what happened to the camcorder in a recent interview on Arise TV, the Minister stated that he should not be the one to answer questions on the camcorder as he handed it over to the Lagos state government.
“You should not be asking me. You have the tapes showing that I handed it over to the government of Lagos so you have all the recordings. I think your people were there. So don’t ask me what happened to the camera. I don’t know.” Fashola stated.
Babatunde Fashola who is currently the Minister of Works and Housing, had earlier said the device was placed there by people with ulterior motives prior to the reported shootings that happened on Tuesday, October 20.
The minister was said to have picked up the device with a handkerchief and handed it over to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for forensic analysis and further investigation.
