Super Eagles of Nigeria goalkeeper, Francis Uzoho has been hailed by Manchester United following his superb performance against them in their Europa League match on Thursday night.
After the encounter Manchester United as a club and some of its players reacted to Francis Uzoho’s man-of-the-match performance at Old Trafford in the UEFA Europa League fixture against Omonia.
Uzoho had made a total of 12 stunning saves in the UEFA Europa League second-leg fixture involving the Red Devils against Omonia, even though his side had ended up losing the game in the final minutes.
Manchester United took to official Twitter platform to react to the world-class display from the Super Eagles goalkeeper, Francis Uzoho.
“Recognising a top performance from @UzohoF.” the club wrote.

Uzoho had not been scheduled to play the fixture as the Nigerian is not the first-choice goalkeeper for the Cyprus side. However, he was lucky to play as the first-choice goalkeeper had missed the game due to an injury.
