Kemi Olunloyo Supports MC Oluomo After Threat to Igbos in Lagos State Ahead of Elections.

Popular Nigerian investigative journalist, Dr. Kemi Olunloyo has supported former Lagos state National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) chairman, Musiliu “MC Oluomo” Akinsanya over his alleged threat to non-APC supporters of Igbo origin in the state ahead of the governorship elections on saturday.

In a video which made rounds on the internet, the Chairman of Lagos Parks, MC Oluomo advised anyone who wouldn’t be voting for his preferred candidate, Babajide Sanwo-Olu to stay at home.

“Iya Chukwudi, if you know you no wan vote for us, sidon for your home o”, MC Oluomo had stated in parts.

The post elicited urge backlash as social media users called for the arrest of MC Oluomo for inciting violence.

Defending him, Kemi Olunloyo stated that MC Oluomo can’t hurt a fly as he was only bringing out his comedy side.

She compared MC Oluomo’s statement to that of IPOB’s sit at home order.

Kemi Olunloyo wrote as follows on social media;

“MCOLUOMO: “If you’re not voting for us then stay at home” is NOT a threat!! Oluomo is a supporter of APC and NOT a govt official or candidate. There is no need to fear. I see the statement as a trolling comment to IPOB’s sit at home program. Oluomo has a comedic side to him. He would never hurt a fly”.
