Tinubu announces intention to appoint 20 special advisers.

The newly elected President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has announced his intention of appointing 20 special advisers.

The announcement came as Senate President Ahmad Lawan read Tinubu’s letter on the floor of the upper legislative chamber on Tuesday, June 6 2023.

This was followed by an affirmation by the Nigerian senate.

Following the reading of the letter, the upper legislative chamber wasted no time in responding to the president’s request. With a unanimous decision, the Senate granted speedy approval to Tinubu’s proposal, demonstrating their support for the president’s strategic vision.
