Making the exciting announcement on his Instagram page, Prince described this venture as a “bold dream” that has been a long time coming. He reminisced about his deep-rooted love for music, dating back to his primary school days, where he diligently purchased songbooks to learn the lyrics of artists like Eminem, 50 Cent, and Snoop Dogg. He even shared anecdotes of his early efforts, such as forming his “Mohits crew” with friends and his dance crew during secondary school.
Reflecting on the challenges he’s faced while nurturing this dream, Prince acknowledged the persistent doubts and uncertainties that come with such a significant undertaking. Nonetheless, he firmly believes in the adage that “God will not put a dream in your mind that is too big for you to handle.”
In his own words, he introduced the birth of his record label, Pollux Records, with the following message: “So, ladies and gentlemen, I present to you the birth of my record label, Pollux Records @polluxrecords.”
Furthermore, Prince proudly revealed the first artist signed under Pollux Records, introducing Valentiiano with the tagline: “And on this note, I hereby announce Pollux Records’ first talent, Valentiiano @valentiianoo.”
