See Oshiomole’s Reaction To Gov. Obaseki’s Disqualification.

According to media reports, the  All Progressives Congress APC screening committee for Edo governorship election aspirants, has disqualified Governor Godwin Obaseki of the state from contesting the primary poll.

Following this announcement, Gov. Obaseki in a statement has said he wouldn’t appeal the judgement of the committee.

However, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Adams Oshiomhole, speaking on Channels Television’s Democracy Day special program on Friday said the disqualification of current Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, from party primaries is justified by the APC constitution.
