BREAKING: Nigeria Records The Highest Number of COVID-19 Cases

Nigeria has recorded 790 new cases of the novel COVID-19 which is the highest ever daily figure which took the total infection case to 26,484, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said on Wednesday.

Nigeria recorded 561 cases yesterday, but it increased to 790 today. The death rate also rises to 603 from 590.

According to the health agency, Delta state recorded the highest number with 166 cases. Lagos state followed with 120 as Enugu recorded 66 new cases.
