Speaker Benue State House Of Assembly Tests Positive For Covid-19.

The Speaker Benue State House of Assembly, Mr Titus Uba has announced that he has tested positive for Covid-19.

Mr. Lubiem Tiav, the Chief press secretary to the Speaker, said samples from Mr Uba and four Assembly members were taken by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).

Tiav who further disclosed that modalities have been put in place to get all Assembly members and staff tested to ascertain their status, asked all who might have come in contact with the speaker within the last week to submit themselves for tests.

The Speaker revealed that himself and his last son have tested positive for Coronavirus, and that both of them are now in isolation.
