Man who planned on committing suicide if he doesn’t marry Buhari’s daughter, makes ‘U’ turn

Abba Ahmed, a 22-year-old man, who threatened to hang himself if he doesn’t marry the daughter of President, Muhammadu Buhari, has finally shelved the plan.

According to report, Hanan, president Buhari’s daughter, got married to Turad Sha’aban, a Special Adviser to the Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, on Friday, in an all Muslim wedding ceremony, that took place in the presidential villa, Abuja, as it was termed, ‘strictly private’.

Ahmed decided to change his mind after he was invited by the police and he later regretted his statement and realized his decision is not healthy. The family of Ahmed were also invited by the police as they promise to monitor and take good care of him, and also prevent him from changing his mind.

“I realized that my intention is not healthy. Henceforth, I will never attempt to find myself in a situation, where the Police will invite me to question me. I will never be involved in anything that is tantamount to an offence.” Ahmed said.

It’s still unknown, if Ahmed knew the president’s daughter or if it was an affection out of imagination. Moreover, the wife of the president, Aisha, took to her social media page to thank God for a successful ceremony
