Tinubu Flies to London ‘to rest’ Weeks After after Declaring His Presidential Ambitions.

Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress’s (APC) National Leader, has reportedly left the country to ‘rest and strategize’ following his Presidential bid.

The politician fled the country on Friday, January 28, 2022, according to a member of the Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu Movement’s Working Committees.

After touring over the country for consultations, he went abroad to rest.” “He went to rest and strategize,” the source explained.

Tinubu had visited President Muhammadu Buhari earlier this month and told State House media that he had informed the President of his desire to run for the presidency in 2023.

Following the declaration, Tinubu visited a number of states around the country to seek advice on his political ambitions.

Tinubu announced his presidential bid three months after returning from London, where he reportedly had knee surgery.

Tinubu, on the other hand, was not present at the Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (ABAT) movement’s working committees’ formal inauguration in Lagos yesterday.
