Popular Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo, made a visit to the home of DJ Splash, a former artist associated with the Marlian music group, who is reported to have experienced mental health challenges during his time with the record label.
In the wake of Mohbad’s passing, several disturbing incidents related to the Marlian record label, led by Naira Marley, have come to light on social media, sparking controversies and calls for justice for the late singer.
In a recent interview, former Marlian artist Lil Smart disclosed that two individuals had experienced mental health issues while working for the Marlian record label before Mohbad’s tragic demise.
Corroborating Lil Smart’s claims, a popular vlogger revealed that one of these individuals is DJ Splash, who had been associated with the Marlian record label but is no longer part of it due to his mental health condition. He is currently being cared for by his mother, who has also appealed to Nigerians for assistance.
In response to this situation, actress Iyabo Ojo paid a visit to DJ Splash’s family on Tuesday. The purpose of her visit was to allow DJ Splash to share his perspective on his time with the Marlian record label, with the aim of providing him with the necessary support and assistance.
In the video footage of the visit, DJ Splash appeared unwell and emotionally unstable as he recounted his experiences during his time with the Marlian record label. Iyabo Ojo assured him and his mother that they would receive appropriate medical treatment, and she stated that Naira Marley would be held accountable for any wrongdoing.
