Mohbad’s Father Responds to Daughter-in-law’s Placenta Claim: ‘Posterity Will Judge Us’

James Aloba, the father of the late singer Ilerioluwa Olademeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, has addressed his daughter-in-law’s statement accusing him of falling out with her over her refusal to give him her son’s placenta.

Omowunmi had claimed during the coroner’s inquest into Mohbad’s death that her relationship with her father-in-law soured because she declined to hand over her son’s placenta.

In a video circulating on social media, Elder Aloba refuted the allegation, stating, “I did not make such a demand. Posterity will be the judge.”
