ASUU STRIKE: Decision Between Union And Federal Government Left Hanging

Fresh update from the meeting between the Federal Government and the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has again left hanging in decision.

The meeting which took place yesterday between the union and government remained the hope of the students across nation. This, after a failure to reach conclusion two weeks ago.

In a report on TVC, it looked like the issues at stake would be resolved when Labour minister Chris Ngige said he had been directed by President Muhammadu Buhari to QUOTE “pass the night here, until all issues that have kept children away from schools are resolved and the strike called off”.
But both parties couldn’t reach an agreement, and the strike continues.
